EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Basic vs Plus
Compare the US Basic and Plus models by solar ceiling, DC output, expansion, and an unresolved Basic-page DC-output conflict.
EcoFlow’s US page presents Basic and Plus versions of the DELTA 3 Ultra with the same headline 3,072 Wh capacity and 3,600 W AC output, but their direct-current, solar, and expansion fields differ. The page also contains conflicting Basic-model DC output information. Use the distinction table as a guide to what needs checking, not as a substitute for the exact current model record or manual.
Shared headline values and model differences
| Field | DELTA 3 Ultra Basic | DELTA 3 Ultra Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Nominal capacity | 3,072 Wh LFP | 3,072 Wh LFP |
| AC output | 3,600 W total, 120 V / 60 Hz | 3,600 W total, 120 V / 60 Hz |
| Surge field | 7,200 W | 7,200 W |
| X-Boost field | 4,600 W | 4,600 W |
| PV input ceiling | 800 W maximum | 1,600 W maximum |
| Expansion | No expansion shown in comparison | Up to 11 kWh with two DELTA Pro 3 Extra Batteries |
| Direct DC | Page conflict: comparison says none; detailed Basic section lists 12.6 V / 10 A / 126 W car output | 12.6 V / 30 A / 378 W total shared DC output |
| Charging methods | Four listed | Six listed |
The source page’s Basic-model DC fields conflict internally, so this profile does not choose one as definitive. Verify the physical unit’s label, port layout, current page, and manual before buying a DC cable or planning a direct-current load. The Plus values belong to Plus and should not be applied to Basic.
Basic model: distinguish the port question from the AC rating
The detailed Basic section lists 51.2 V / 60 Ah LFP storage, four AC ports rated up to 20 A plus a 30 A port, and the same headline AC output shown for Plus. It also lists 0–45 °C charging and −10–45 °C discharge and storage. The product comparison says no DC output, while detailed specifications list a 12.6 V / 10 A cigarette-lighter output. That internal disagreement is material if a buyer needs direct DC power or a specific car socket. Check current documentation for the exact SKU before deciding that a port is included or absent.
The page advertises up to 800 W PV input on Basic. It does not establish a complete voltage/current acceptance window in the evidence used here, so do not design an array from the wattage ceiling alone. Confirm panel voltage, current, connector, and cable against current model-specific instructions.
Plus model: solar and battery expansion
The Plus comparison lists a 1,600 W PV ceiling, a 12.6 V / 30 A / 378 W DC path, and expansion to 11 kWh with two DELTA Pro 3 Extra Batteries. The page describes a shared Anderson and car-output limit. Those features are not Basic capabilities. An 11 kWh stored-capacity headline also does not establish usable output energy or runtime at a named load.
Both variants are listed at 120 V / 60 Hz, 3,600 W output, and 7,200 W surge, with an under-10-ms UPS claim. These are manufacturer specifications. The page does not establish device-specific ride-through or medical suitability. Verify the attached device’s transfer tolerance and startup requirements; an X-Boost number does not guarantee operation for every motor or voltage-sensitive appliance.
For a comparison, record the exact variant name, market, physical DC ports, firmware, and compatible battery code. Use the specification decoder to distinguish nominal capacity and boost claims, and the charging and expansion guide to check input and battery compatibility.
