EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus US and Europe: Model Profile

Compare the DELTA 3 Max Plus by market and separate regional output, per-outlet limits, charging windows, battery compatibility, and mode behavior.

The US and European DELTA 3 Max Plus pages describe the same named 2,048 Wh LFP family but expose different output standards and outlet limits. The user manual adds the exact model identifier EF-DL3-MP, solar-input window, direct-current ports, battery names, and operating warnings. Keep these sources together to understand the model while preserving the market boundary for each outlet and regional claim.

Regional output comparison

Field US profile European profile Manual boundary
AC voltage and frequency 120 V / 60 Hz 230 V / 50 Hz The model table lists US and UK/EU/INT rows separately
Total AC output 3,000 W 3,000 W Discharge-only maximum; bypass has a separate range
Surge 6,000 W 6,000 W Maker specification, not a motor-start guarantee
Per-outlet limit Up to 20 A Up to 13 A Regional outlet table; do not transfer between markets
Solar headline Up to 1,000 W Two 500 W inputs; 1,000 W total Manual: 11–60 V DC, 18 A maximum
AC charging Not normalized here Up to 2,300 W on EU page Input and output ratings answer different questions

Both product pages state a UPS switching value below 10 ms and describe expansion through the 4+8 Extra Battery port, up to two extra batteries. These are manufacturer statements. They do not show that a particular computer will ride through transfer or that an added battery is compatible with any firmware or country-specific SKU.

Direct-current inputs and outputs

The manual gives a 12.6 V/30 A, 378 W total DC output through an Anderson connection and a cigarette-lighter port sharing the output. It lists a 140 W USB-C port, two 45 W USB-C ports, and an 18 W USB-A port. For solar, it specifies 11–60 V DC and 18 A maximum, up to the page’s stated 1,000 W ceiling. Solar voltage, current, and wattage are simultaneous limits; staying under the wattage figure alone does not prove a panel combination fits.

The manual also lists 12 V/8 A, 24 V/8 A, and 48 V/10.4 A DC input profiles. These are distinct charging paths. Use the current regional manual and approved charging equipment for the exact source and connector; do not treat the model’s 12 V output port as the same thing as its vehicle charging input.

Expansion and operating modes

The manual names compatible extra batteries: DELTA 3 Max Plus Smart Extra Battery EF-DL3-MP-EB, DELTA 3 Smart Extra Battery EF-DL-E010-4, DELTA Pro 3 Smart Extra Battery EFD521-EB, and DELTA 2 Max Smart Extra Battery EFD350-EB. It gives the expansion port’s separate input and output electrical ranges, but that is not independent proof of every market or firmware configuration. Confirm the exact accessory code, cable, and firmware before connecting an expansion battery.

The manual says X-Boost is enabled by default and is more suitable for heating devices. It may not suit devices with voltage protection and is unavailable while the station is charging from AC in bypass mode. The manual also warns that AC timeout can turn off intermittent loads such as refrigerators or air conditioners. Its suggested never timeout setting and battery checks are model guidance, not proof that a refrigerator or other stored item will remain powered.

Backup, weather, and installation limits

The manual lists charging at 0–45 °C and discharging at −10–45 °C. It distinguishes the battery pack’s IP65 rating from the main unit’s IP20 rating; do not apply a battery rating to the complete station. Confirm where the main unit may be operated in the current regional manual.

A below-10-ms claim does not establish uninterrupted operation for a specific device. Check transfer tolerance with the device manufacturer and test ordinary loads. The product pages’ home-backup references are not household wiring instructions; any fixed connection requires the correct manual and qualified local assessment. Use the specification decoder to separate bypass and discharge values, and the UPS guide to assess device continuity.
